Regarding the Membership Merges
The AIPMM is in the process of doing some membership maintenance, mainly moving the membership purchases over to the store within our forums. If you have received an email that looks like this:
An invoice has been generated for you and has been marked paid automatically because the amount to pay is zero..
This message is for your information only - no further action is required.
this was an errant email generated by our new cart software. During the merge, we generated invoices to reflect your most recent membership purchases from our old cart. A majority of our members did not have a forum account created, so we created one for them, thus the additional email which looks something like this:
The AIPMM is currently in the process of merging its memberships with its forum software. Our records indicate that you are currently a member of the AIPMM, and we have merged your account over. An invoice from your most recent membership registration is also available under your new account, within the Client Area.
We have done all the hard work for you; all you need to do is login to your new AIPMM account and change your password. Here is your login information:
Login using the following link: http://aipmm.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=global§ion=login or visit the AIPMM website, click on Forums, and then click Sign In at the top right corner.
The above email is a legitimate AIPMM email. Anyone who has already purchased a membership from our current cart has had their account moved over to the forums, and a username and password generated. You need to login and finish the registration process.
The first email should only be for those who did not have a forum account previously. Since their accounts have just been created, and no Display Name has been chosen, the system did not know how to display it, and just wrote "?????".
This is a brand new cart software for us, and we're in the process of working out all the kinks. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion that this has caused you, and we will do everything we can to make sure no suspicious or errant emails are sent out.
