Welcome to the PMEC Product Management Excellence 2008 Awards nomination website. Established in 1998, the AIPMM is dedicated to the worldwide excellence in product management education, research and practice. The Product Management Excellence awards are presented to acknowledge the outstanding contributions of individuals and organizations in the field of product management.
Winners will be announced at the AIPMM Excellence Dinner during the PMEC 2008 in San Diego, California April 1, 2008. |

The AIPMM will recognize four areas of competency and excellence in these areas of product management
Product Management Education/Training:
This award recognizes the contribution and excellence of an outstanding individual, university program or training company. The focus is on how the training was introduced to the customer, and how it developed and promoted the discipline of product management. Nominees must actively teach the product management discipline to one or more industries.
Excellence as a Thought Leader
This award recognizes and individual who is making or made sustained and substantial lifetime contributions to the growth and development of the product management discipline. Designed to honor the individual who by leadership and creative insight, has positively advanced the product management discipline.
Excellence in Product Management Organization
This award recognizes an organizational entity that has made significant commitment to their product managers, actively supports the discipline of product management, and who is an active supporter of industry educational programs and activities which foster and promote excellence in product management. Recognizes a company that has done an outstanding job of implementing and supporting the product management discipline within the organization.
Excellence in Product Management Tools
This award recognizes the innovative and practical tool designed for commercial use to support the product management discipline within an organization.
