Product Manager Ambassadors Council
This dynamic volunteer AIPMM Product Manager Ambassadors Council is a select group of association members, the majority holding the prestigious dual CPM/CPMM certification. These individuals are the embodiment of the highest standards of excellence as they represent the Association of International Product Marketing & Management (AIPMM) and the field of product management and product marketing. They speak or lecture at universities, schools, other groups, and events. As the most experienced and highest-ranking group of product managers and product marketers, they offer their insight and advice on the career path, education, and the day-to-day tasks of a working product manager, making a difference to the next generation of professionals.
Optional membership in the volunteer AIPMM Product Manager Ambassador Council consists of:
Your name being listed in the AIPMM Ambassador Council database
You may be given the opportunity to be a guest speaker in a classroom (often at the MBA level) speak to an individual student, or speak at an event to discuss your career as a product manager
You will always have the option to decline to speak
Ambassadors will be chosen regionally - to speak to their own local universities or classes
Ambassadors will represent the AIPMM professional association as well as the profession of product manager
Ambassadors must be members in good standing of the AIPMM association and preference will be given to those who hold one or more of the association certifications
The Association of International Product Marketing and Management is creating a culture of mentoring within the product management professions
to assist current product professionals in successfully confronting obstacles in their day to day efforts,
to facilitate rising product professionals in gaining experience and becoming successful product management leaders in their organizations,
to forward the profession, individual practitioners and product teams in successfully bringing products through the entire product lifecycle process.
Ambassador Council Members are invited to participate in the Mentor Matching Program to pay it forward.
